PRIME Artist Rehearsal Studios rents monthly and on-demand rehearsal rooms near downtown Portland. We serve mostly local working bands, but anyone with an urge to play is welcome.

MONTHLY JAM SPACE:  Monthly rooms start at around $250 and are accessible 24 hours a day. Play whenever you want, leave your gear set up to cut down on wasted practice time, and connect with the other musicians who create just down the hall from you.

ON-DEMAND JAM SPACE:  Room 6 is available for bands to rehearse in without making the monthly room commitment. Rental is $30 for 6 hours. That's only $5 an hour!!! Try to beat that price! Time is first-come/first served unless you have a regular practice schedule, in which case we would be glad to add you to our Repeat Band List to guarantee you the same spot each week. Click HERE for an up-to-date Room 6 schedule of availability. Room 6 comes equipped with a vocal p.a. and 1-2 mics. There are also other pieces of equipment available for a very low fee per piece.
Here's what's available:

1. $10 for the Pearl Export drum kit - incl. bass drum and pedal, floor tom, 2 mounted toms, snare drum, cymbals (1 ride, 1 crash, 1 set of hi-hats), drum throne.     Bring your own sticks though!
2. $5 for the Crate guitar amp with Peavey 4x12 cabinet
3. $5 for the Peavey 5150 EVH guitar amp with Peavey 4x12 cabinet
4. $5 for the Ampeg SVT-200T bass amp with 2x15 cabinet

PRIME can rent certain pieces of equipment for out-of-house use. This is handled on a case by case basis, but our goal as always is to help bands play out. If you need gear in a hurry and you don't mind it being a bit pre-worn - give us a call. See the list below for an idea of what we might be able to provide. We may also have an extra p.a. to rent depending on the circumstances.

As always, in-house renters must come first when booking rental gear. We are a rehearsal studio above all else.
